Byzantine Arch

Photographed in Rhodes Old Town in Greece, as far as i can remember there's a church here, if i were to point the camera the other way! :-/ Anyway, just about all of the architecture is Byzantine including this series of archways. Obviously i've greyscaled the image and adjusted the curves, it's just made it much more dramatic.

It's some kind of vaulted ceiling with joining drop arches (well they look like drop arches)
